Vietinbank Tower covers a gross floor area of 300,000 m2, including 2 towers of 48 floors and 68 floors, along with a podium of 7 floors connecting the two towers and 4 basements covering 4 hectares of land.
With a large scale and high degrees of complexity, the most state of the art technology was utilized for the project. For the first time in Vietnam, the 68-floor block was constructed entirely with steel structure, while the 48-floor block was constructed using post-tension prestressed concrete. Geological seismic research, wind tunnel tests and Osterberg test… have been applied to provide trustworthy design input data, extremely important in the structural design of two tall blocks of buildings.
