When designing the exterior of the building, the architects came up with the idea of a semicircular façade that was assembled together to create the overall exterior of the building that is both modern and bold with its own personality. However, there are many difficulties in choosing materials to express the architect’s ideas. There are materials that meet the artistic criteria, but the specification is not satisfied with requirements and vice versa. After many choices, the Architectural precast concrete solution of Dragcons was trusted to be selected for the completed facade of Asiana Danang project.
For Dragons, this is also one of the highly challenging projects, in addition to ensure the sophistication of the pre-engineered concrete components, the work must also satisfy the technical requirements and bearing capacity with solid structure with time. People often think of solid, rough things when mentioning the concrete, but regarding this work, concrete is not only ordinary reinforced concrete, but also has delicate curves and glides to form the perfect facade for the work. Therefore, the stages from mold production to plate casting are very elaborate and meticulous. In addition, the problem of construction and installation is also very complicated. Because the concrete slabs are long and heavy and installation is required to be made by the height of the building, it requires Dragcons’ structural engineers to carefully calculate every detail, installation accessories, along with a team of skilled installation workers to be able to complete the project at the best performance.
