Covering over 75,000 m2 floor area, the factory was 3-storey high, with the live load ranging from 1 to 3 ton/m2, and 9×9 column grids. The solution of using precast prestressed concrete (PC) has been proposed in order to ensure timely handover within 7 months. The PC structure covering around 35,000 m2 was completed within 60 days, excellently meeting the requirements of the main contractor Shimzu and consultant Haskoning, looking to be applied in upcoming projects in Vietnam.
